It is now about three years since I was healed in Christian Science, and it is with a deep sense of gratitude that I give my testimony to what Truth has done for me. I was healed of a rupture for which I had been under medical treatment for nearly eight years. The doctors told me they could not help me, as I had gone through one very serious operation and could not survive another. They said that owing to my condition an operation would be impossible. I then heard of Christian Science, and the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, was bought for me. I began to read and study it, and soon all fear had passed from me. I was so wrapped up in it that I dreaded to have any one come in, lest I should have to stop reading. I go to business every day, so I could only read evenings, but in two weeks I was healed completely of rupture, nervousness, and severe bowel trouble. For all this I am deeply grateful to God, and to our dear Leader who has so clearly shown us the way our Master trod. My desire is to live this truth in a way that will voice my gratitude for all it has done for me. The Sentinel and Journal have been and are very helpful to me.
Mrs. Anna L. Congreve, Brooklyn, N. Y.
