A short time ago I thought that a certain person was causing me a great deal of annoyance, and my first impulse was to do something to put a stop to his troublesome actions. Before taking any steps, however, I spoke of the matter to a friend who is a Christian Scientist, and asked him what he would do. I confess I had not considered the matter as I should, and when my friend simply remarked that perhaps I needed most to change my thought about the person in question, the truth came home to me. After this, whenever the annoyance presented itself, the truth came to me, and soon I had a kindlier thought and an honest desire to see only God's man. The result was marked. The annoyance ceased, and in its place came a mutual good feeling. It is for such changes as these, and many others, through the power of right thinking, that I am very grateful to God, and to His messenger, Mrs. Eddy.
