In January, 1905, I was thoroughly healed of a very distressing form of so-called organic female trouble. A friend who was at my home said something about Christian Science, and the result was that I went to see another friend, who was interested in Christian Science, and she loaned me three numbers of the Journal. After having read one of them and part of another, I discovered that I had been completely healed of the disease. It has never returned and I am now perfectly recovered from it. In October, 1902, I had undergone a surgical operation, which had left me worse than before. The four doctors consulted had differed widely in their diagnosis, and considerable money was spent for medical treatment, while I was healed in Christian Science without any expense. I will also say that since becoming interested in Christian Science I have been able to leave off my glasses, although I had used them for fifteen years and was told at the time they were fitted I would always have to wear them. I can now see to do all my reading and other work without any discomfort at all. For all these blessings I am deeply grateful to God, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
Mrs. Lillian French, Camden, Me.
