I have now been in Christian Science about nine years, and many times I have desired to write and tell what this great truth has done for me. To me Truth has indeed been the "strongest Deliverer, Friend of the friendless" (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 399). We were an afflicted family, and for sixteen years I was much of the time in very bad health. I suffered from female trouble and injuries received in childbirth, for four years being almost helpless. I was treated by eleven physicians, whose kindness I shall never forget, but their various modes of treatment only added to my sufferings. About nine years ago I was brought into perfect health by studying "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and attending the church services. Prosperity and friends have been restored to me, and my gratitude to God and to our Leader is unbounded.
