LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Chicago, I11., July 20, 1907.

Beloved and Revered Mrs. Eddy:—In acknowledgment of recent magazines containing articles by Christian Scientists, which I sent to Mrs. Adele von Portugall, I received the enclosed two postal cards, the translation of the part written in Italian being as follows:—

"Dear Friend:—I received what you sent me and read it with great interest. It displeases me that Mrs. Eddy, for all the good that she has done and is doing for humanity, gathers so much ingratitude. But this test, which would destroy the peace of anybody, for her is nothing but a victory of Spirit over error."
