It is with pleasure and a heart full of gratitude to God...
It is with pleasure and a heart full of gratitude to God that I give this testimony of my healing. From childhood I was sickly, and a large sum of money was spent for medical treatment. I suffered from severe headaches, and in 1898 I had a fever which left me with rheumatic trouble and very poor health up to 1905, when I was led to see the truth as demonstrated in Christian Science. I had been treated by one of the best doctors in our city and two specialists. They gave me no hope, saying I could not be cured. On my way from Cincinnati, where I had been for medical treatment, I stopped in Dayton, O., with a friend who had been healed in Christian Science. I attended a Christian Science service, and there I met a friend of my school-days, who had also been healed in Christian Science and was a practitioner. He told me that God is to-day the same God who healed men nineteen hundred years ago, and this statement I have found to be true! He referred me to a practitioner in my home city, and I took treatment. The demonstration was wonderful! I was healed of rheumatic trouble and of a rupture of twenty-eight years' standing, and the desire for tobacco, which I had used for twenty years, also left me. I had been a hard drinker, a habit which I had tried hard to quit; but now the desire for liquor is gone, and in its place I have peace and love. Knowing that God is All in all, what more could we ask? I hope this testimony may throw a ray of light on the path of some one in darkness, and lead him to Truth.
Frank B. Hamilton, Piqua, Ohio.
