It is a great pleasure to me to be able to testify to the blessed fact that Christian Science has healed me. I was the victim of several diseases, and I had scarcely ever been free from distress, caused by heart and other troubles; but, thanks to Christian Science, I feel that I have been born anew, as it were. I had suffered so much that I had concluded this was my cross to bear, that I never would be well; nor could I die, though sometimes I felt like destroying myself, because I was such a burden and so unhappy. I know now that it never was my real self, for man is always "hid with Christ in God." I am grateful that I accepted Christian Science when it was first presented to me. My healing was almost instantaneous, for I never had another attack of my trouble, though I had been subject to these attacks about once a week, and the doctor had told me they would prove fatal unless I submitted to a serious operation at once; but having passed through one, I had no desire to repeat the experiment. I have much to overcome, but know that I have found the way to grow better, and a good Friend to guide my every step. How close God is to us, yet how little some of us realize it, how little we know the Christ-love that yearns to bless all.

Words are inadequate to express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, but I am trying to show it by striving daily to walk close to God and follow our Leader's teachings. She is certainly leading us to the "light of life."
