Nearly seven years ago I entered the Christian Science...

Nearly seven years ago I entered the Christian Science church in Denver, Col., a broken-hearted woman, as I then thought. It was Communion day, and Mrs. Eddy's hymn, "Saw ye my Saviour?" was sung. The second verse appealed to me, especially the line, "Love wipes your tears all away." My first thought was that if I could bring even one to this fountain, I would be satisfied. I am glad to state that through Christian Science I have been able to help the broken-hearted and heal the sick. Since coming into Christian Science, the blessings that have come to me could not be counted. I was healed of a chronic disease of the bowels, also chapped hands, by reading Science and Health. I came into Christian Science for peace of mind, but I was considered a very delicate woman, my weight being only eighty-five pounds. My health is now good, and has been ever since I commenced reading Science and Health. All that I am owe to this blessed truth. I receive much benefit from the Sentinel and Journal.

I can express my gratitude to dear Mrs. Eddy only by living what I profess—by being a Christian Scientist.
