My little niece had been a cripple for three years
My little niece had been a cripple for three years. Her right foot was caught in a door and severely injured, and although the doctors did all they could, after several months they said that an operation would have to be performed. The child being only three years old, the parents would not consent to it; so for three years she was in this condition, sometimes able to use the foot for a while, but most of the time she had to be carried about. When the child was brought to our home she was carried into the house and the work in Christian Science was begun at once, with the result that in six months her father took her home, walking as straight as any one. The foot was in its natural position and there was only the slightest limp discernible. In a few weeks' time after treatment was commenced she could go up and down stairs, and run and play with other children. This healing took place four years ago, and since that time she has walked daily over a mile to school in all kinds of weather and in deep snow, and there has never been any complaint of the old trouble. She is an unusually bright and happy child, and loves Christian Science dearly. She has most of our dear Leader's writings.
My own gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, for this healing is unbounded.
Mrs. Lucy E. Weckesser, Newport, Ky.
