Christian Science has done and is doing so much for me...
Christian Science has done and is doing so much for me and my family that I feel I must express my gratitude, not only to God, who has given us this wonderful gift, but also to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, whose love and devotion have led us out of darkness into light, and who is constantly admonishing us to follow in the steps of the beloved Master. I have had many wonderful demonstrations. My husband came home one day, suffering intense pain in one eye. I declared the truth as we are taught in Science and Health, and within half an hour the suffering ceased, and at night he declared that the eye was well. Thirty-five years ago he had been afflicted in the same way; the same eye had caused untold suffering and much expense for months, in the Ear and Eye Hospital in Brooklyn, N. Y. Because of this experience his fear was very great when the same trouble again presented itself, but it was at once overcome by the truth.
I thank God that we are thus learning to know the power of divine Love, and my desire is ever to realize the Christ-mind for myself and others. The literature of The Christian Science Publishing Society has been such a source of help to me that I feel impelled to send this testimony.
Mrs. Margaret O'Brian, Independence, Ia.
