I wish to express my gratitude for the blessings which Christian Science has brought to me. From my earliest recollection I had been afflicted with a stomach trouble, which as I grew older was pronounced very serious by the doctors. I also suffered from a train of other ills which made life a burden. In this condition I heard of Christian Science, but avoided it. After hearing of the healing of a friend, however, I decided to investigate, and procured a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I became so interested in the reading that the book was seldom out of my hands.

It seemed incomprehensible at first, but as I continued to read the light and the healing came. I cannot express my thanks to God for this precious gift to the world of Science and Health; also to dear Mrs. Eddy for her untiring efforts in behalf of suffering humanity. It is my earnest desire to be ever obedient to her teaching.
