It is now over two years since I became interested in Christian Science and commenced the study of its teachings. During this time I have depended entirely upon it for physical healing. One demonstration I want especially to mention, because it proves that God's Word is "quick and powerful." I awoke one morning feeling miserable. I got up and dressed, as necessity compelled me to prepare breakfast for those who were going to their work. Breakfast over, I sat down and began to study the Lesson-Sermon in the Quarterly entitled, "God the Preserver of Man." When I had finished that lesson I was well. I worked hard until ten o'clock at night, without feeling in the least tired.
Words do not express my gratitude for the knowledge I have received from Christian Science. It has only helped me physically and spiritually, but it is also giving me a better education. It has aroused an interest in the study of the Scriptures and made the Bible an interesting book. For all this and many other blessings I am thankful to God, and immeasurably indebted to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, the author of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."—Mrs. Flora Burke, Kirksville, Mo.
