An Appreciative Letter
[We are glad to give prominence to the following letter, which makes plain the attitude of Christian Scientists toward their Leader and expresses the gratitude they feel for her Christian labors for them and for all mankind.—EDITOR.]
Boston, Mass., Aug, 11, 1906.
Dear Mrs. Eddy:—I have just returned from a day's visit to Concord, where I go several times a year to look into the Patriot's affairs, and in this connection I desire to say that I appreciate more deeply than ever before the privilege of controlling this paper for such service as it is able to perform, and while I have been obliged year by year to add considerable amounts to my original investment, I can say from my heart that if the ownership of the paper by a Christian Scientist has been of any comfort to you, dear Leader, I am a thousand times repaid.
