Preliminary Arrangements for June.
Horticultural Hall, corner Massachusetts and Huntington Avenues, has been secured as headquarters for all committees, from Thursday, June 7, to Wednesday, June 13, inclusive, and all necessary information for visitors can be obtained there. Cards of admission to the Annual Meeting (for members only) will be issued at this place, and all mail and telegrams received for visitors will be distributed there, but such mail and telegrams should be sent in care of The Christian Science Publishing Society, 250 Huntington Avenue.
Almost all the railroads have agreed to make a reduced rate of practically one fare for the round trip to Boston for the Communion season. It is suggested to those intending to visit Boston that they consult their local ticket agents a sufficient time in advance of their intended departure to enable the agent to secure tickets, etc.
A Committe has been appointed to find rooms for those attending the June meetings of The Mother Church, and this Committee will be able to provide rooms for all visitors. Those who have not made definite arrangements are requested to communicate with the Room Committee, 250 Huntington Avenue, as early as possible, stating their precise requirements, the price they are willing to pay, etc., in order that an approximate estimate may be made of the amount of accommodations which will be required. This Committee will not undertake to engage rooms in advance, either in hotels or private houses. Those wishing to engage rooms in advance should communicate directly with the hotels at once. It is desirable that, where practicable, one person should act for a group from one locality. This will greatly facilitate the work of the Committee.
On their arrival in Boston, those who are depending on this Committee for rooms are requested to go to Horticultural Hall, corner Huntington and Massachusetts Avenues, where this Committee will have its headquarters, commencing Thursday, June 7.
Hours for Services on June 10.
In order to provide an opportunity for all who wish to attend the services upon the occasion of the Communion, and the dedication of the extension of The Mother Church, six services will be held. The hours will 7.30 and 10 o'clock A. M., and 12.30, 3.00, 5.30, and 8.00 P.M. At the 12.30 service, the children will be given preference in seating the congregation.
Picture of The Mother Church.
The picture of The Mother Church and its extension which The Christian Science Publishing Society will have for sale is a half-tone reproduction, 12 x 15 inches in size, of a view giving the St. Paul Street frontage and Falmouth Street side.
The picture is mounted on a white mat, 21 x 25 inches, and will be sent to any address in a mailing-tube for fifty cents a copy. A dozen copies will be sent to one address for $4.50. Address all orders to The Christian Science Publishing Society, 250 Huntington Avenue, Boston, Mass.
