Having received so many blessings through reading the testimonies of others, I wish to show my gratitude by giving my own experience. In early boyhood I became a member of an orthodox church, and enjoyed my church life for a number of years, but when I grew to manhood, certain questions came up which were not answered to my satisfaction, and at last I ceased to attend the services. About three years ago my wife was advised by a friend to be treated by a Christian Science practitioner, and also to procure a copy of Science and Health. We commenced reading it; and after going over a few pages, I said to her that it was that for which we had been looking for years. With what joy and deep thankfulness we have studied this wonderful book, only those can know who have had the same privilege. The Bible is a new book to us, for now it is truly "the Word of God," and as its wonderful beauty and truth are revealed to us, we drink of the living water which heals from sin and disease. As the grandeur of Christian Science was revealed to us, it seemed almost too good to be true, but we now know that only the good is true. It has brought to us much physical help, but what I rejoice in the most is the revelation of God's nearness and of His tender love for His children.

I thank God for the unfoldment of Truth that comes to us through the study of the Bible and Science and Health, thankful that I am living in the age which has given us one so pure, so brave, and fearless, that she has been the means of bringing to us this truth.
