Last summer one of my boys cut his foot very severely on a piece of heavy glass. His playmates brought him home, and one of the boys said that one of the toes was nearly cut off. The foot was bleeding terribly and the child seemed very weak. A great sense of fear came over me and I at once sent for a practitioner. Help was immediately given, and in a very few minutes the blood stopped flowing but there seemed to be a great deal of pain. My husband dressed the toes and in less than an hour the pain was all gone; the child retired at bed-time and slept as usual all night. Next day he had a great deal of walking to do, and also rode his wheel. There was no swelling or soreness at all, and three days afterwards he wanted to put on his shoe and asked me to look at the toes. I had never seen wounds heal as those did, it was truly wonderful to me; the flesh grew back and healed up perfectly.

We are indeed thankful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy for the understanding of this truth that makes men free.
