It is impossible for me to express in mere words my gratitude for Christian Science. I was an invalid and a constant sufferer for two years, and after submitting to surgery, I had eight months of hospital life. Electricity, osteopathy, and mineral springs had all been tried in vain when the opportunity to try Christian Science came to me. I was relieved at once, and in a month's time I could walk a mile. For six months, however, we waited, to be assured that this seeming miracle was permanent before I returned to my college work. The realization of the nothingness of that hydra-headed monster, fear, the understanding that there are no limitations for children, and the knowledge of what we may attain spiritually by understanding and by constant endeavor, has given me something of the peace that passeth understanding.

My heart goes out in gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, which I will earnestly endeavor to express in my daily life.
