With a heart overflowing with gratitude, I bear witness to the power of God, omnipotent, omnipresent good. Last June I met with an accident, sustaining a compound fracture of the right arm at the wrist. When the surgeon made his examination, he said, "It is a compound fracture and you are apt to be deformed for life." I answered at once, "Not when God does the healing."

The setting of the bone was absolutely painless. I ate my supper as usual, went for an automoblie ride as was my custom each evening, and slept peacefully through the night. There was no shock, fever, or swelling, as the surgeon predicted, and during the entire time of the healing I was free from pain. When at the end of four weeks the cast was removed, the doctor said, "You have an absolutely perfect result, and I congratulate you." The following night at dinner I lifted a glass of water with this hand, and with as much freedom as ever.

I praise God, and I am conscious of a deep sense of gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, for making the truth available for me in this experience.—ANNAH BROOKS, Chicago, III.
