My little girl of four had what the physicians pronounced diphtheria. They treated her for some time, but she did not get well. She had croup and high fever for several days at a time. We kept on with the doctors for six weeks, then she grew so much worse that we decided to have Christian Science treatment. She improved at once, and had very little croup after the first treatment, and is fast outgrowing the tendency to colds. From being a delicate, puny child she has become a picture of health and happiness. I, too, had treatment for heart trouble. I did not think to tell the practitioner about a rupture for which I had worn a truss six years; but I soon left off the truss, and have never used it since, over a year ago. The doctor had told me that nothing but an operation could cure me of this trouble. The dear Scientist who treated us lives in Baltimore, and we have never seen her. I am studying the Bible and our text-book, Science and Health, also the Lesson Sermons. Christian Science has done more for me spiritually and physically than anything ever did. May God bless Mrs. Eddy and all the dear ones who are endeavoring to follow her, even as she follows the steps of the Master.
