In our family four little daughters rely upon Christian Science, and in the years that we have known this blessed truth they have been healed of every illness and pain that has appeared. No material medicine has been used, there has been no resort to hygiene or other material methods, and the healing work has been done through daily study of the Bible and the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Among the ailments healed were the following: cholera morbus with violent symptoms; this was instantly healed. Neuralgia was healed in three instances. Besides these there were stings of hornets, chills, burns, toothache, cramps, etc., and a swelling of the head and face from poison oak was healed in a few hours and never has returned.

Another healing of unusual interest to me occurred two years ago. "Christ and Christmas" by Mrs. Eddy, had been given me by my mother, and that night my little girl lay on her bed with burning fever and other distressing symptoms of croup. While treating her my eyes rested on this gift, which was near me. Opening it, I began to read, and as I did so the beauty of holiness dawned upon my thought and there gleamed as a ray of light the pure, the unselfed spirituality of the idea expressed by the author.
