Christian Scientists are followers of him who taught the relationship of sin and disease, as recorded in the Gospels. Their religion heals the sick and reforms the sinful, at one and the same time and by the self-same method. They rely wholly upon God, and they prove their faith by their works; and thus they come to know that God is a very present help in time of need.
