Gratitude for Christian Science urges me to tell of a demonstration of the power of truth over error. There seemed to be blood-poisoning of the worst type, and the fear was great for a time. I however tried to help myself to the best of my understanding, and after reading the twenty-third Psalm, and in Science and Health (p. 2), a deep, sweet peace came to me that I never shall forget. The sense of pain was gone. I then slept until evening, and went on duty; all was well. I could not even discern where the injury had been. I am very thankful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy for this truth that makes free.
