Letters to our Leader
[Telegrams.]
Chicago, Ill., November 29, 1905.
Rev. Mary Baker G. Eddy,
Pleasant View, Concord, N. H.
The limitless bounty of infinite Love becomes more apparent to us, as we grow in the understanding of God; and wish on this occasion to express what we daily feel, — our deep thankfulness for what has been given us through you, — a present evidence being the wisdom that prompted you to advise, a few years since, that Christian Scientists in large cities should own their church edifices. I this, the metropolis of the West, five stately buildings have been erected, the last of which opened its doors for its first service last Sunday; and although the service was repeated three times, many seeking admission had to be turned away.
