It is difficult for me to find words to express my gratitude...
It is difficult for me to find words to express my gratitude for the benefit I have received from Christian Science. I have been healed from several very severe attacks of sickness, one of which was inflammatory rheumatism. I was healed almost instantaneously, and felt very grateful, although I did not then take up the study of Christian Science; but a few months later I was taken sick with Saint Vitus' dance. I received Christian Science treatment, but did not want to study the literature at all. I grew worse; in one month I was entirely helpless, and was even unable to speak. At this time I concluded that the time had come for me to take up the study of Christian Science. I began to read the Bible and Science and Health, and in about one month I was entirely healed, although it was a few months before I gained my perfect strength. I was thankful for the physical help I had received, but I find that the spiritual healing is much more to me, for through it I am learning every day that no matter what my seeming trials may be, I am guided and delivered by divine Love, and by going on in this truth we are enabled to overcome these trials.
I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for so earnestly seeking this truth, which is a sure guide on the strait and narrow path to life eternal.—Benhart C. Nahnsen, Cedar Falls, Ia.
