I desire to tell what Christian Science has done for me
I desire to tell what Christian Science has done for me. It found me full of sin and disease. I had dyspepsia, constipation, heart and kidney trouble, and catarrh. About four years ago a friend came to make me a visit, and when she saw me in such poor health she asked me if I would try Christian Science. I told her I would, and she gave me treatment. She told me not to take any material remedies; that I must trust in God for my healing, and read my Bible. She gave me treatment every day while she was here, and before she went away I was better. I could eat anything; could also drink cold water and it did not hurt me, so I felt that God was healing me. There seemed to be a great burden taken from me and I felt very happy. My healing was slow, and I feel thankful for this, as it has compelled me to read the Bible and the Christian Science text-book. This truth has healed me in many ways, and I want more of the understanding. I believe that Christian Science is the true religion of Christ Jesus. thank God for leading me to the truth, and I thank Mrs. Eddy for Science and Health, which helps us to understand God.
