Thanksgiving Day Services

A Thanksgiving service was held at The First Church of Christ, Scientist, on the corner of Falmouth and Norway Streets, at 10.30 A.M. yesterday, Mr. W. D. McCrackan, First Reader of the church, presiding.

The service was after the usual order, opening with singing, Scriptural reading, and prayer. Then followed a solo by Mrs. Hunt and a Lesson-Sermon, prepared for the occasion, consisting of a compilation from the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by the Rev. Mary Baker G. Eddy.

An opportunity was then given for testimonials from members of the church, appropriate for the occasion, after which the following despatch was read, adopted, and sent to the Rev. Mary Baker G. Eddy, Pastor Emeritus of the church, at Pleasant View, Concord, N. H. :—
