A luminous and interesting lecture on "Christian Science and the Brotherhood of Man was delivered in First Church of Christ, Scientist, last night [May 9] by W. D. McCrackan of New York. before a large audience.

The lecturer was introduced by Mrs. Isabella M. Stewart, a former First Reader of the church, who, with Mr. Stewart, was the pioneer of the Christian Science movement in Canada, some seventeen years ago. Since then the membership of the church in the Dominion has increased very rapidly, until now its adherents in this country are numbered by the thousands.—Mail and Empire.
