Christian Science and Christian Scientists never attack any one. Christian Scientists love all mankind and are working to lift themselves above whatever is unlike God that they may help those who are sick and needy in any way, and to follow in the way of overcoming the world, the flesh, and the devil, which Jesus taught.

We do not say that there is no stone, and no stumble, but we do know that as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he, and his thoughts govern him at all times. If he has the Mind which is in Christ Jesus he has his remedy at hand, and if there seems to be an accident one neither curses the stone nor God, nor cuts off the toe. He does not say he has no pain, but he knows God is All, and so holds his thought at one with God, and thus proves God to be an ever-present help in time of trouble. Christian Science has the "signs following," which proves it is the knowledge of God taught and practised by Christ Jesus, and now manifested by the great numbers of pure-minded men and women, healed through its influence, who are building up its churches.
