In contributing to our periodicals, I feel I can only repeat what has already been told over and over again : that Christian Science is the old truth revealed anew, a revelation that is bringing to humanity the true understanding of God, of Life, Truth, and Love. Christian Science has transformed me from a doubtful, unhappy, discontented, miserable woman, into one who is at least learning to know God aright, and who can now see the way clear to follow teachings of Christ Jesus.

It is now more than four years since I first heard of Christian Science. I had, from childhood, been brought up in an orthodox church, had only a material sense of God, and considered my unhappy condition a just punishment. I was endeavoring to bow to His will, though I must confess I did this with a rebellious heart. The first words of this wonderful truth spoken to me planted in my soul a joyous hope, and now I am daily realizing. more and more, that it is the true understanding of God which is the Saviour; and I know that this Christ-truth is saving me hourly.

In all things I have trusted to the understanding gained from the teachings of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker G. Eddy, in physical as well as mental troubles, and in every instance I had proven the truth of its teachings. Among the many physical diseases that I had to torment me, I will mention a few that have been overcome by a knowledge of this truth. From infancy I was held in bondage to weakness, and I was spoken of as a "poor weak vessel" not able to accomplish, in a physical way, anything that required strength. I had a weak back, liver complaint, bladder trouble, dysentery, malaria. injuries, accidents, toothache, and other troubles of like nature, which disappeared, and while I am grateful for the physical healing, I rejoice to know that I am governed by an ever-present divine Principle that is with me constantly, overcoming fear, doubt, and sin, as well as disease; but I especially glory in the spiritual understanding that is mine to-day. and I humbly express my gratitude to infinite Love, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, that staunch, true, loyal disciple of Christ, and to my devoted teacher for pointing the way to the greatest revelation of Truth the world has ever received.—I. C. L., Houston, Tex.
