I would like to add my testimony to the list of those who have been healed through Christian Science. Words cannot express my gratitude to God, to our Leader, and to the one who first voiced the truth to me, for it indeed made me free. I have been healed of heart trouble, rheumatism, asthma, constipation, and other troubles.

I had been treated by several different doctors without receiving any permanent relief. The heart trouble, and asthma kept growing worse, and I began to despair. I had heard of Christian Science, but being a member of an orthodox church, I feared the commotion it might make if I accepted it. For two years my husband urged me to try Christian Science, but I thought I was doing God service by clinging to my creed, although I was not quite satisfied. There was a longing for something, I did not know what, and I failed to find the "peace of God which passeth all understanding." I did not realize I was forfeiting that peace by rejecting the undivided garment.

One evening a neighbor and his wife, who had been healed through Christian Science, called, and on their departure, left some Christian Science literature. One day while reading it I was instantaneously healed of a very lame back. This was proof to me that there was something in Christian Science, but not sufficient proof for me to leave my creed for Christ, so I clung to it, and to my aches and pains a few months longer.
