Letter to our Leader

1465 Michigan Avenue, Chicago.

Rev. Mary Baker G. Eddy.

Dear Madam:—I take the liberty of writing you. It was my desire to do so while I was yet in Jerusalem, my native city, when I heard about you and your great work in establishing the kingdom of God here on earth.

The writer is a converted Hebrew, who came to this country a few months ago on business, selling flowers and bulbs from the land of our Saviour, which I am glad to see are so much appreciated by Christian people everywhere, and samples of which it gives me great pleasure to send you, asking you to be so kind as to accept them. I feel sure that you will like the flowers that grew in the earthly home of our Lord.

May the God of love crown your efforts with success, and may He open the eyes of my nation that they may see him whom their fathers have pierced.

Yours in His service.
S. P. FOREST.
