For six years I was as if buried alive, and none could help me. I looked in every directions for help, but could find none, not even my pastor could give me any consolation or lift me from the gulf of despair, nor could physicians, with the kindest intentions, allay the pain.
At last I gave up all hope. The smile of my beautiful and happy children was only a cause of grief to me, for I thought I would soon leave them.
At last I was awakened from the dream of horror. I soon learned through reading our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" that God is Good, and Good never causes sickness or sin, sorrow or death, and it is for us to resist all that is not of God. Through Christian Science I have been made whole, and I enjoy all that is beautiful and true. My heart is filled with love for our dear Leader, for while we slept she was busy working for us. No wonder we say, "Glory to God, ... on earth peace, good will toward men."
Mrs. Prudence Guy, Cedar Rapids, Ia.
