FROM CHRISTIAN SCIENCE COMMITTEES ON PUBLICATION
Chronicle
Houston, Texas
You had an article under the caption, "Psycho Cybernetics—You Can Program Your Own Mind" by Brenda Beust Smith, in which A. L. (Al) Liberman is quoted as comparing the mechanics of psychocybernetics with the practice of Christian Science.
In explaining autohypnosis (or psychocybernetics), Liberman-Smith states, "This is, in fact, identical to the methods practiced by the Christian Scientist. His has religious overtones, but he is still practicing autosuggestion."
