Thus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion (Zech. 8:3)

This portion of Zechariah was written after the Jews' return from exile, while the rebuilding of the temple (thought of as God's dwelling) was under way in Jerusalem on the ancient city heights called Zion.

Execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates (Zech. 8:16)
