Truth and tranquillity

No Push, No Pull, No Pressure

The man God created never needs a tranquilizer. He is not subject to pressures of any kind. This spiritual man, the child of Spirit, is always serene and happy. Secure in the knowledge of our heavenly Father's ever-present love for him, he is completely undisturbed.

The twenty-third Psalm tells us that God is our Shepherd. This Shepherd doesn't drag, push, or pull His sheep. He gently leads them "beside the still waters." He makes them "lie down in green pastures." Ps. 23:3;

No one can study this beautiful psalm without being filled with a great sense of peace and calm. It tells us plainly that God guides and guards us and gives us everything we need every moment. This is the truth of God and man that Christ Jesus preached and demonstrated. And we can prove it in our own experience as we learn to practice the Science of Christ, or Christian Science.
