Man's true identity is made up of the qualities that come from God. Mary Baker Eddy taught that God is Life, Truth, Love, Principle, Mind, Soul, and Spirit. And that man is the expression of God.

As the expression of God or Life, man must be active, strong, and vigorous. As the expression of Soul, he is peaceful and beautiful. Dwelling on these spiritual facts of man's true nature will bless and heal us all.
