I have been a Christian Scientist for many years and have had many healings. One of the most outstanding was a recent one of double vision. Two objects appeared to me when there actually was only one. I worked prayerfully on this problem, applying the facts as pointed out in the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. One of these facts is that sight is entirely spiritual. We read (p. 214): "But the real sight or sense is not lost. Neither age nor accident can interfere with the senses of Soul, and there are no other real senses." I was having a Christian Science practitioner treat me also.

This condition did not yield immediately, so I had some glasses made so that I could drive a car safely. I told the optometrist that I expected this condition to disappear shortly. He said he expected it would be with me a very long time. The glasses were made and fitted, and he said that they were exactly what I needed.

All through this experience I had the practitioner prayerfully helping me to see man's perfection as the child of God and that every organ of the body is governed by God, Mind.
