Banish Grief Through Love's Nowness

Mourning over the passing of a loved one may evoke the advice from well-meaning friends: "You must overcome your grief."

How can we do what to many people seems extremely difficult, if not impossible?

Mrs. Eddy writes, "We own no past, no future, we possess only now." Three sentences further on she ends the passage: "Faith in divine Love supplies the ever-present help and now, and gives the power to 'act in the living present.'" The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 12;
