My wedding ring was dropped...

My wedding ring was dropped in the grass one day while I was picnicking in a large public park. Many hours were spent in searching for the ring, and it was voiced by my friend and others who had been in the picnic area at that time that it would be impossible to recover it.

I was in earnest in desiring to have manifested in my human experience the good effect of understanding that anything that belongs to man as a child of God can never be lost. I also knew that nothing is impossible to God and that I could, through the practice of my wonderful religion, be led to find the ring through the knowledge that man is always directed by divine Mind.

With the help of the Concordance, I was able to find references pertaining to "lost" and "found" in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. These references helped me to spiritualize my thinking and enabled me to accept the joyous conviction that man's true wedding is his at-onement with God and that no part of the spiritual evidence of this at-one-ment can ever be lost. I remember rejoicing in this fact. Then I knew I had to abide with this conviction and not allow my thinking to drop to the level of believing in the reality of loss.
