Leading from Strength
"One who is taking his stand as Jesus taught has his feet grounded upon the rock, Christ."
We all have our standards of what is normal, of what may reasonably be expected in life. But how greatly our standards differ! We can see how much if we compare the words of the Psalmist, who sang (Ps. 62:5), "My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him," with those of Job, when he cried (3:25), "The thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me."
