Let Us Go to Church to Give
"Prayer in church is the rich, impartial, and impersonal outpouring of love to all present"
A Christian Scientist with a heart overflowing with love needs no added incentive to make him want to attend church. It is natural for him to want to go in order to give, or express, his love. This devout, unselfed love is a large factor in providing an invigorating, healing atmosphere at services in Christian Science churches. Paul quoted our Master, Christ Jesus, as saying (Acts 20: 35), "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
