"HATH NOT ONE GOD CREATED US?"
Christian Science enables one to look at every problem of human relationship from the correct standpoint. That God is the only creator and man His spiritual expression is the basis of this standpoint. An acceptance and an appreciation of God as omnipresent, omniacting, omnipotent, and omniscient, forever governing His creation harmoniously, are included in it.
It is obvious that such a standpoint cannot be the basis for personal likes and dislikes. It does not accept as permanent such considerations as personality clashes, gossip, propaganda, envy, spite, or limited affection. One working from the spiritual standpoint no more accepts these human suggestions as the true facts for solving a problem than a mathematician accepts a mathematical error as a basis for the solution of a particular problem.
The mathematician knows that to accept a false premise would lead to a false answer. Likewise, a skilled navigator called upon to guide his ship or his airplane would not listen to the suggestion that Polaris, the North Star, lies in the east instead of the north.
