TRUTH-BEARERS ALL!

On the lips of every earnest Christian Scientist should be this question: "How can I, as a church member, serve God better in my community?" Each will, in his own way, answer it. Christian Science is in the world to lift the burden of sin and suffering from humanity and to point the way to a more concordant way of life. Each member should take his right place in the Christly plan of salvation presented in Christian Science.

No member of the Church of Christ, Scientist, is exempt from the responsibilities incident to his membership. No member should allow any work to be neglected or abandoned because of an unwillingness or a reluctance to serve.

After pointing out that "Love is not puffed up," Mary Baker Eddy adds, "and the meek and loving, God anoints and appoints to lead the line of mankind's triumphal march out of the wilderness, out of darkness into light" (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 130). Christian Scientists are all Truth-bearers, and we must lovingly respond to God's anointing and appointing for work in His harvest fields.
