Shortcomings
are sometimes shrugged off with the excuse, "We are only human.

Moses was called by God to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt, he distrusted his ability to convince them that God had sent him.

is vital that we learn through Christian Science how to identify ourselves truly, for this will have a practical value to us in our everyday lives and will bring many beneficial results.
The
little word "in" plays an important role in the religion of Christian Science.
On
the lips of every earnest Christian Scientist should be this question: "How can I, as a church member, serve God better in my community?

Speaker: Today we're going to discuss how fear can be conquered.
[This is the third of five addresses given at the meeting in the Extension of The Mother Church on June 10, 1959.
I became interested in Christian Science when I was a very young child and had the great privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School; also I had the benefit of consecrated teachers, who gave me a firm foundation in the knowledge of Truth and who taught me how to destroy error, not to fear it.
Our family became interested in Christian Science many years ago through my uncle's healing of tuberculosis.
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me".
Christian Science was introduced to me by my wife, and I took up the earnest study of this religion about four years ago.
Mary Baker Eddy states in "Miscellaneous Writings".
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding'".
My first healing in Christian Science was that of sinus trouble.
