"I WILL BETROTH THEE UNTO ME FOR EVER"

In the book of Hosea is this inspired message (2:19, 20): "I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the Lord."

Was not our great Master, Christ Jesus, a living example of man's oneness with God, divine Principle, Love? All his mighty healing works were done "in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies." So clearly conscious was he of man's eternal unity with God as His reflection that he was able to refute with healing power the false evidence presented as sickness, blindness, sin, and even death itself.

In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy writes (p. 18), "Jesus of Nazareth taught and demonstrated man's oneness with the Father, and for this we owe him endless homage."We too must work out in our individual experience man's oneness with God.
