I first heard of Christian Science...
I first heard of Christian Science over fifty years ago, while living in England. After the birth of our first child I was ill for weeks and not expected to live. At that time a friend who had received a remarkable healing through Christian Science brought a Christian Science friend of hers to see me.
I shall never forget the love this Scientist expressed as she read aloud from Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. While she read, my mother-in-law, who had suffered for a long time, was healed of neuralgia. We were greatly impressed and decided we wanted to know more of what that book contained. It was so inspiring.
My healing soon followed, and afterward seven members of the family, including my husband, our baby, and me, attended the Christian Science services, which were held in a private home some distance away.
