HUMILITY, THE OPEN DOOR TO HEAVEN
Psalms 31:20
In
the secret of Thy presence
Where I may safely hide,
No arrogance can claim me there;
I shall be hid from pride.
In Thy pavilion secretly
From strife of tongues kept free,
There I am hid from error's shafts,
Safe in humility:
This is the open door to heaven,
With God and man at one.
Here each is hid with Christ in God,
As His beloved son.
