Not long ago I had a healing in...
Not long ago I had a healing in Christian Science which I should like to relate to others. I rejoice in expressing gratitude, because acknowledgment is such an important part of demonstration.
On this particular evening, my husband and I had taken our grandchildren to a soda fountain to get ice cream. While attempting to lift our grandson to a seat, I was seized with a severe pain. I felt that something had slipped out of place in the lower part of my back. I immediately declared the truth, as had been the custom in my home since childhood. The declaration was: "There is no sensation in matter. Matter is not causative."
Without mentioning the difficulty to my husband or the children, I returned home. During the evening every movement was difficult, especially getting out of a chair.
