The testimonies of healing in our Christian Science periodicals have always been of great help and inspiration to me. Many times they have related healings of conditions that I also had been working to overcome.

When I was a child, I always missed at least a month or six weeks of school every winter because of sickness. My first healing in Christian Science came at one of these times. My mother had taken me from the bed and placed me in a chair in the living room so that it would be easier for me to breathe. Then a Christian Science practitioner was asked to pray for me.

I will always remember how happy I was when I knew I was going to have God's help. This I did receive, and I continue to enjoy its benefits.
