Life, Truth, and Love are the...

"Life, Truth, and Love are the realities of divine Science. They dawn in faith and glow full-orbed in spiritual understanding." These words from page 298 of Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy have been proved true in my experience.

From 1930 to 1932 I was bedridden, a hopeless, helpless invalid suffering from arthritis of the spine. I tried every kind of treatment I heard of. Finally I was taken to a specialist who said he had made a special study of this type of arthritis. He told me that there was no cure for me and that I would become completely paralyzed.

A friend who had heard of my plight sent me some copies of the Sentinel. Then she posted me the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I had tried everything else; so I thought I might as well see what this book had to say. It was propped on a bookrest over my bed, and I could just manage to turn the pages.
